Meljac takes customization to the next level with bespoke finishes
Meljac, known for its expertise in brass surface treatment, offers bespoke creations on request, in addition to the 29 finishes in its colour chart.
Its brass work, performed entirely by hand in its workshops on the outskirts of Paris, gives the metal its unique hue, appearance and character.
Meljac works in tandem with architects and designers on projects with increasing levels of customization, either adapting existing finishes or creating custom shades that complement the aesthetics of an interior.

Unique in-house expertise
Meljac develops its know-how at its integrated surface treatment plant, where every piece is subjected to a specific procedure involving painstaking manual work. It can take almost twenty steps to obtain the desired finish.
Surface treatment is a key stage in the manufacturing process, giving the brass its final colour and appearance (polished mirror, brushed, bead-blasted, satin or patinated) before it is varnished and dried.

Designs to meet the requirements of every project
Every piece – from those using a finish in the Meljac colour chart to entirely bespoke creations – is produced to the same quality standards.
Meljac draws on its capacity for customization to design fittings that blend perfectly into their environment, complementing a tap set, a handle, a door frame, a lamp or a piece of furniture, so that every switch, socket or control panel plays its part in the broader design or architectural narrative.
