Claude Fritsch appointed Industrial Manager
Meljac has appointed Claude Fritsch to oversee its production management and development. This new role comes at a key moment for Meljac as it strengthens its organisational structure to adapt to its continued growth.
Claude Fritsch is joining the team after two years as a consultant supporting the implementation of a new management tool at the company.
“After becoming closely acquainted with Meljac’s practices, priorities and challenges, my role now is to structure the company’s processes, while never losing sight of the bespoke strategy and innovation-minded approach on which it has built its reputation. With Meljac’s production processes blending skilled craftsmanship and industrial technology, we need to automate where we can to free up more time for the manual stages, making better use of the expertise and creativity of each member of the team.”

- After studies in machining, plastics and materials, Claude Fritsch began his career as a draughtsman in a small plastics firm, working his way up to the position of industrial manager and sales engineer for clients in the military, medical and food industries for 17 years.
- He then founded his own industrial development consultancy firm before joining Aldebaran, one of his clients, as design office manager and then industrial director. After seven years in humanoid robotics, he moved to a medical robotics company as industrial and R&D manager.
- In late 2022 he became a consultant for Meljac, attracted by the company’s development potential and extensive expertise.
